Woman escapes from police custody at SF hospital

A 28-year-old woman escaped from police custody at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital on Sunday night, according to police.

The woman, identified as Cresencio Mandujano, was being medically evaluated after an earlier incident on Eddy Street in the Fillmore when she escaped at around 10:45 p.m., according to police spokesperson Officer Joseph Tomlinson.

Mandujano was being booked for an outstanding warrant out of Los Angeles County, Tomlinson said. Police could not specify what the warrant was for.

The San Francisco Police Department is currently searching for Mandujano.
