Woman assaulted with pepper spray in SoMa

A 46-year-old woman told police she was assaulted with pepper spray and robbed in South of Market on Friday afternoon.

At 12:15 a.m., a 35-year-old woman came up to the victim, grabbed her cellphone and threw it to the ground. She then took the victim's jacket before pepper-spraying her.
