WNBA may be coming to Bay Area

Donna Orender, the WNBA commissioner, said the women’s pro basketball league remains interested in putting a team in the Bay Area, but will not rush the process. Speaking at the WNBA Finals, Orender said the league will be taking a closer look at the region this offseason. “There’s lots of discussion — I would call it quiet discussion — in the Bay Area,” Orender said.
