Western Addition shooting Saturday sends woman to hospital

A fight between a man and a woman in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood Saturday afternoon escalated and ended with the woman being shot, police said.

Around 3:10 p.m., officers responded to the shooting in the 1200 block of Turk Street near Webster Street.

They arrived and learned a 25-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman had gotten into a fight before the shooting, according to police.

The woman was suffering from an injury not considered life-threatening and she was taken to a hospital.

Officers were unable to locate the shooter, who remains at large.Crime
