Weekend shooting in SoMa leaves two injured

A man and a teenage boy were injured in a Saturday night shooting in the South of Market neighborhood, according to police.

The 10:54 p.m. shooting near Brannan and Ninth streets sent a 41-year-old and a 14-year-old boy to the hospital, where they are both expected to survive.

The older victim was sitting in a car when he heard shots and felt them in his back. It’s unclear whether the teen victim was an acquaintance of the man shot in the car.

No arrests have been made.
