Sunny skies are expected all around the Bay Area today. High temperatures shouold be in the 70s to 80s with east and northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight

The Bay Area tonight is expected to be clear with low temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s and west winds of 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow

Tuesday the Bay Area is expected to be sunny with highs in the 70s to 80s. Northeast winds around 5 mph are anticipated.

Traffic

The Bay Bridge approach is unusually heavy this morning with cars already backed up through the MacArthur Maze.

Traffic at the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza is unusually bad for a Monday despite no apparent causes to the back up. Westbound Interstate 80 is backed up to Pinole. State Highway 24 is backed up to the Caldecott Tunnel and Interstate 580 is heavy starting in the Lakeshore area.

Over on the Golden Gate Bridge side, traffic is light today coming onto the bridge from the Waldo Grade.
