Victim shot in hand

A man walking near Alamo Square Park was shot in the hand early Wednesday morning.

<p> About 1:30 a.m., the 25-year-old victim was near the corner of Fulton and Steiner streets when an unknown suspect with a handgun opened fire, police said.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and friends took him to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The male suspect’s vehicle was described as a gray Honda Civic, police said. No arrests have been reported.Bay Area NewsCrimeCrime & Courts
