Victim shot in Bayview attack

A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in The City's Bayview district early Sunday morning, police said.The victim was standing on the corner of Dukes Court and Cashmere Street about 3:07 a.m. when a suspect in a vehicle fired shots at him, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, Esparza said.

No suspect information was immediately released and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
