Two men in their 30s shot in Bayview District

Two men were injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported at 10:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of Oakdale Avenue.

The victims, men ages 30 and 33, heard gunshots and then discovered they had been shot, according to police.

The victims went to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

No suspect information in the case was immediately available from police. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
