Two crooks make off with 16 bottles of body wash in Bernal Heights heist

These two crooks managed to make a clean getaway.

A man and woman stole 16 bottles of body wash from a business in Bernal Heights on Monday, police said.

The two suspects, who appeared to be in their 40s, concealed the bottles in the woman's bag about 3:30 p.m., police said. As they went to exit the store in the 3300 block of Mission Street, the security guard, a 30-year-old woman, confronted the pair, keen on their dubious scheme.

But the two crooks pushed her out of the way and fled to a light-colored SUV, police said.

No arrests were made.
