Two arrested in connection with October murder

The early October killing happened on an especially violent weekend in San Francisco in which five victims were killed over three days.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Visitacion Valley in early October, the San Francisco Examiner has learned.

Dennis Paulo, 23, and Salevi Levi, 22, were booked into San Francisco County Jail on Thursday on suspicion of murder, a police official said.

They are accused in the killing of 36-year-old Giovanni Hernandez, a San Francisco resident, who was shot around 4 p.m. Oct. 1 near 26 Burr Ave.

Hernandez died a half hour later at San Francisco General Hospital.

Further details about the case were not immediately available.
