A collision involving a big rig, a garbage truck and a two-passenger car is blocking one lane of U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles crashed around 6:15 a.m. and have left the westbound No. 4 lane blocked just south of Third Street, CHP Officer Chris Nave said.
The driver of the big rig appears to be badly injured, Nave said.
