Tony Hall takes break from SF mayor’s race to attend brother’s memorial service

Mayoral candidate Tony Hall will be taking a break during the final stretch of campaigning before Tuesday’s election to attend a memorial service for his brother, Hall’s campaign manager Jamie Fisfis said Friday.

Hall’s brother, Dennis, was the youngest of Hall’s seven brothers and sisters Hall said in a Facebook post on his page Oct. 21. His service is being held Saturday.

“I wanted to acknowledge how grateful we are for the expressions of support and prayer we have received,” Hall said in the post.
