Time for speaking up on Presidio increased

The public comment period about the future of the Main Post at the Presidio has been extended to give people more time to weigh in on what should be done with the historic site.

One of the topics that people can comment on is the plan by Gap founders Don and Doris Fisher to build a contemporary art museum to house their artwork.

The comment period about the Main Post, which encompasses 120 acres and has more than 1.28 million square feet of building space, will now end Oct. 20.
