Thousands of students to get college advice

A partnership between The City, the school district and San Francisco State University launched last year will likely bear more fruit next week.

Thousands of San Francisco 12th-graders and more than 50 Bay Area colleges and universities will come together Friday afternoon at a Civic Center college fair organized by the SF Promise program, according to the San Francisco Unified School District.

Under the program, any SFUSD graduate who meets minimum entrance requirements will be guaranteed a spot at San Francisco State University.
