Teens hospitalized after North Beach shooting

Two teens were hospitalized after a shooting in North Beach on Saturday night.

At 10:04 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near Taylor and Francisco streets, according to police.

A 14-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the knee and a 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Both victims were hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Police described a four-door Infiniti as a vehicle possibly related to the shooting but did not immediately release any other suspect information.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.
