Teenager stabbed near Redwood City

A 17-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in unincorporated San Mateo County on Saturday night, sheriff's officials said.

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office responded at 9:43 p.m. to a home on Nottingham Avenue, southeast of Redwood City, on a report of a stabbing.

They found the victim there suffering multiple stab wounds. He was treated at the scene, and then transported to a local hospital.

Sheriff's officials are asking anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing to call the San Mateo County Sheriff's office at (650) 363-4911 or the anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
