Teen wounded in Bayview shooting

A 19-year-old man was shot in the Bayview on Monday night, according to police.

The 10 p.m. incident at Palou Avenue and Keith Street began when a suspect approached the victim and the two had an exchange. The suspect then fired two shots from a handgun and fled.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

No arrest has been made in the shooting.
