Teen seriously hurt in Tenderloin stabbing

A 19-year-old man was seriously wounded in a stabbing Tuesday evening in the Tenderloin, according to police.

The victim was walking down the street in the 100 block of Golden Gate Avenue when at about 5:35 p.m. several suspects approached the teenager and an argument ensued, police said.

The victim punched one of the suspects, knocking him to the ground, and another suspect then stabbed the victim.

The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction and were not arrested as of Wednesday morning.
