Teen arrested for September fatal shooting in Bayview

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the killing of Alejandro Valle, who was shot dead in Bayview-Hunters Point in late September.

Peter Milyak was booked into San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of murder Wednesday.

Valle, 19, was killed at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 1700 block of Oakdale Avenue.

When the killing occurred, Milyak was 17, so he may be charged as a minor.

The killing marked The City’s 35th homicide of the year; that count has since risen to 46.
