A teen was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his guardian during an argument Tuesday afternoon in San Francisco’s North of Panhandle neighborhood, police said.
The stabbing occurred around 4 p.m. in the 1600 block of Grove Street, after the suspect, a 19-year-old man, began arguing with his guardian, a 30-year-old man.
The victim called police for help when the suspect allegedly began hitting him.
After the phone call, the teen allegedly stabbed his guardian, leaving him unconscious.
Police arrived on the scene and arrested the teen. His identity had not been released as of Wednesday morning.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
