Taste of home for zoo’s polar bears

The San Francisco Zoo’s polar bears frolicked in a blanket of snow provided by the San Francisco Ice Co. on Monday as their habitat was transformed into a winter play land.

The 10 tons of ice that were blown into the exhibit that is home to Andy and Piké were part of the zoo’s Winter Wonderland festivities to celebrate the first day of winter.
