‘Talk to Meg’ event slated for Foster City

Meg Whitman, the California Republican gubernatorial candidate, will be in Foster City on Friday for a “talk to Meg” event. The former CEO of eBay will speak at SolarCity, 381 Foster City Blvd., starting at 10 a.m. Whitman formally announced her bid for the GOP nomination in 2010 on Tuesday. Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger must leave office because of term limits.
