A pedestrian was sent to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Thursday morning after being hit by a T-Third streetcar in Bayview-Hunters Point.

The Fire Department was called to Third Street and Williams Avenue at about 9:12 a.m. on reports of an injury accident.

Muni spokeswoman Kristen Holland said the incident, which is near a T-Third line stop, was cleared at about 10 a.m. Shuttles were running to transport passengers in the interim.
