Suspect stabs man with machete in Oceanview

A 22-year-old man was stabbed by another man with a machete in the Oceanview neighborhood early Tuesday morning, police said.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. in the 200 block of Orizaba Avenue, according ot police.

The suspect, a 25-year-old man, apparently got into a fight with the victim and sliced the victim’s neck with a machete. The victim suffered a laceration to the neck and was taken to a hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Police arrested the suspect.
