Supes meeting to iron out Cup details

Raising $270 million is no small task and if anyone knows this it’s the Board of Supervisors. City supes will meet Monday to discuss exactly how the San Francisco America's Cup Organizing Committee can leverage their skills and the $270 million promised to help land the 34th America's Cup in San Francisco Bay as the official host city.

The supervisors will also consider the “term sheet” which outlines the deal The City has out on the table to lure the America’s Cup race to San Francisco. This includes handing over free land in exchange for the America’s Cup to repair and improve the aging piers.
