Supervisors to vote on continuation of federal grant for HIV programs

The Board of Supervisors will vote Tuesday on a resolution that would allow the Department of Public Health to continue receiving federal grant funding from the HIV Emergency Relief Programs. The Bevan Dufty-authorized resolution would allow the DPH to request $36,118,233 in program funding from the Health Resources Services Administration, which would cover from March 1 to Feb. 28, 2011.
