Supervisor Daly to be roasted at The Independent

For all of those who love to hate Supervisor Chris Daly, here is your chance to roast the man notorious for his incendiary speech.

Daly is hosting his own roast where supporters and enemies can “kick him then kick it with him,” as the invite goes.

The event will be Jan. 5 at The Independent.

The one person who would probably love to tell Daly where to shove it is his political nemesis Mayor Gavin Newsom. Yet according to Newsom’s spokesman, Tony Winnicker, the mayor wasn’t invited to the $20 event.

“Perhaps the invitation got lost in the mail or we haven’t received it yet,” Winnicker said. “Sometimes it takes a few days for mail to get here from Fairfield, you know.”
