Strong-arm burglar swipes cash, knife

Knock, knock. Who’s there?

It was no joke when a resident in the unit block of 9th street answered his door Tuesday night and a brazen strong-arm burglar forced his way in, police said.

The suspect, described by police as a 25-year-old black man, charged into the apartment and took money and a knife off of the victim’s dresser, police said.

Now confronted by a knife-wielding thug, the 27-year-old victim told him to take the money and leave, cops said. The punk did so and remains at large, police said.
