Storms causes 315 flight delays at SFO, 115 flights canceled

Since Wednesday’s storm broke 115 flights have been canceled at San Francisco International Airport.

And after today’s wind and rain, 315 out of a total 1,250 flights were experiencing delays, according to Doug Yakel, an SFO spokesperson.

Those delays are averaging about 45 minutes over the next few hours, he said.

The recent break in San Francisco’s storms isn’t going to help much either, he added.

It’s “probably too late in the day to completely catch up, despite improving weather,” Yakel said. Bay Area News
