Store clerk pepper-sprayed and swindled

A 20-year-old male store clerk was pepper-sprayed Friday night in the 100 block of Leland Avenue during an armed robbery, police said.

Two men reportedly entered the store and dragged the employee to a back office. While one thief simulated having a gun in his pocket, the other pepper-sprayed the victim before robbing him and fleeing.
