Stabbing near Powell BART Station leaves man with life-threatening injuries

A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing Saturday evening near the Powell Street BART Station, a police
spokeswoman said.

The stabbing occurred at about 6:10 p.m. near Cyril Magnin and Eddy streets, Officer Giselle Linnane said.

The suspect fled and the victim was taken to a hospital.
