Smash-and-grab at Union Square luxury store

Two men among the midday shoppers at Union Square are suspected of smashing a front window at the Gucci America luxury items store on Monday and making off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

The San Francisco Police Department reports receiving a 1:26 p.m. call to the 200 block of Stockton Avenue, where the two suspects were said to have burglarized a storefront display window.

Exactly which items were taken was not available. There were no arrests.
