Sleepless in San Francisco

Talk about an aggravating aggravated assault.

A 41-year-old man was asleep on the sidewalk at 46th and Judah on Friday at 1:20 a.m. when a heartless assailant struck him in the head and ran off, police said.

The rudely awakened man was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, cops said. No arrest has been made.
