SFPD investigating theft of 26 bicycles from Visitacion Valley middle school

San Francisco police are investigating the theft over the weekend of more than two dozen mountain bicycles from a shed at a middle school in The City’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood.

The theft of 26 bikes, which have a combined value of more than $9,000, occurred sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at Visitacion Valley Middle School at 450 Raymond Ave., according to police.

No other information about the theft was immediately available.

San Francisco police and school district officials planned to release more information about the case later Monday afternoon.
