SFPD investigating early morning homicide in Nob Hill

Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead early Wednesday morning in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood, according to police.

Around 3:55 a.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Polk Street, police said.

The victim, described as a man in his 50s, was already dead when police arrived, according to police.

Police did not say what kind of injuries the victim was suffering from. Police made no arrests and did not identify any suspects.

The death marks The City’s 47th homicide of the year.
