San Francisco police closed down a South of Market intersection near the Hall of Justice on Monday morning to investigate a suspicious package.
The San Francisco Police Department bomb squad responded to the 900 block of Bryant Street near Seventh Street at around 11:25 a.m., according to police spokesperson Officer Joseph Tomlinson.
Emergency officials warned the public on Twitter at 11:55 a.m to avoid the intersection.
The area remained closed to the public into the afternoon.
The incident was resolved by 1:33 p.m., according to the Department of Emergency Management.
Police were not immediately available to provide further information.
