SFPD announces $1M warrant for sexual assault suspect

Police are searching for a San Francisco man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in the North of Panhandle neighborhood last year.

Adrian Hernandez-Vasquez, 37, allegedly assaulted the victim, who he knew socially, on June 19, 2016, police said Wednesday.

A $1 million warrant has been issued for Hernandez-Vasquez’s arrest in connection with the assault.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411, starting the text message with “SFPD.” Tips can be made anonymously.
