SF post office locations to consolidate

San Francisco postmaster Noemi Luna received comments from the public Tuesday about potential service changes around Civic Center.

Plans are to consolidate locations due to a decrease in the amount of mail handled.

The U.S. Postal Service has delivered 12.7 percent less mail nationwide in 2009 than in 2008. Revenue was down from $71.8 million to $68.1 million.
