SF police investigating death of man whose car crashed into pole

Investigators are trying to determine if 56-year-old Freddie Brooks, a San Francisco resident, died from injuries suffered in a car crash into a pole or if he had a medical emergency prior to impact, Officer Gordon Shyy said Thursday.

The crash happened at Park Presidio Boulevard and Fulton Street near Golden Gate Park about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
