SF police arrest suspected cellphone thief on BART

Police arrested a man Friday morning at a BART station in San Francisco after he allegedly robbed a victim.

According to police, the suspect stole a cellphone from a victim on a train. The suspect was immediately detained by other patrons.

At 8:31 a.m. police arrested the suspect at the Civic Center station. He was identified as 27-year-old Yalon Carter of San Francisco, police said.BARTCrime
