Firefighters and the U.S. Coast Guard are responding to an area near San Francisco’s Pier 70, according to a fire dispatcher and Coast Guard personnel.

The Coast Guard said it is dispatching a small boat to the area from Sector San Francisco, which is on Yerba Buena Island.
