About 4,210 Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers in Greenbrae, Larkspur and Corte Madera lost power this morning just before 5:30 a.m., a company spokesman said.
The power outage in Marin County began at 5:24 a.m. when a garbage truck hit a pole at Fifer Avenue and Tamal Vista in Corte Madera, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
Redwood High School in Larkspur is closed today due to the power outage, said Jean Smith, a dispatcher with Twin Cities Police Department.
There was no estimated time when power will be restored, Guidi said.
