Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate, was originally scheduled to make an appearance in San Mateo County on Thursday, but is now on the calendar to visit the Bay Area on Oct. 5.
The Alaska governor was slated to have a fundraiser at the Woodside home of local entrepreneur Thomas Siebel on Thursday.
Because of a scheduling conflict, the event was moved. The exact brunch location has yet to be determined.
Tickets cost $1,000 for brunch or $2,500 for brunch with a limited-edition lapel pin.
