Salvation Army to distribute toys for low-income families

Thousands of toys will be distributed today and Tuesday as part of the charitable organization’s Toy and Joy Shop program. Low-income parents will be escorted by volunteer personal shoppers through a wonderland of Christmas presents they can give their children. The distribution begins at 9 a.m. at the Salvation Army Service Center, 520 Jessie St. For more information, call (415) 553-3524.
