Salesforce signs another lease for downtown office space in San Francisco

Salesforce.com has continued its leasing spree in downtown San Francisco by signing on to occupy about 235,000 square feet at Rincon Center, located at 101 Spear Street, between Mission and Howard streets.

The news of the lease, which the company said was signed Dec. 29, comes just after the company announced it would lease all 450,000 square feet of space at a new building at 350 Mission St. and rent 100,000 square feet of space at 50 Fremont St., according to Paul Hastings, the company that has represented Salesforce in four of its recent real estate transactions.

After the Rincon Center lease, the company will have approximately 1.8 million square feet in San Francisco by 2016, the company said.

“We are proud to have our global headquarters in San Francisco and are committed to continuing to grow and add jobs in The City,” Salesforce said in a written statement.
