Bar fight: A person at a bar was pepper sprayed and punched numerous times by five or six people at 7:45 p.m. April 8.

Drug bust: Beat officers on a foot patrol observed a man they believed was selling crack cocaine at Ellis and Jones streets April 8. The man was detained, and several rocks of cocaine were seized from his pockets.

Unlicensed: Officers saw someone they knew driving a car without a front license plate at 7 p.m. April 6. They pulled him over and found he did not have a driver’s license or insurance. They told him his car would have to be towed. He refused to sign the citation and argued with the officers. They took him into custody and discovered drugs in his pocket.

Chinatown robberies: A gold chain was pulled from a 27-year-old woman at Sacramento and Stockton streets at 9:30 a.m. April 10. The suspect was described as a man in his 20s. After a follow-up investigation, they identified a suspect. Hours after this robbery, an officer searched the Chinatown area and spotted the suspect in a vehicle at Waverly and Clay streets. The officer arrested the suspect, who may be responsible for eight or more robberies of the same type.

Bayview, Hunters Point
Bus stop robbery: Officers responded to Bacon Street and San Bruno Avenueregarding a robbery on April 9. The victim told officers that she was waiting for the bus when two unknown females approached her, asked her what time it was and pushed her with an open palm to the throat. The suspect took the victim’s purse and ran down Bacon Street.
