Reward for killer of pit bull puppy increased

A reward to help find the killer of Pogo, the 7-month-old pit bull puppy, has increased to $15,000.

The three-legged foster dog disappeared from Ocean Beach near Sloat Boulevard at about 8 p.m. July 22. He was found brutally stabbed to death in the Bayview on July 29.

Anyone with information about Pogo’s death should call Animal Care and Control at (415) 554-9400.
