Reward climbs to $8K for leads in drowned cat case

Public support boosted to more than $8,000 a reward for information related to last week’s discovery of a drowned male tuxedo cat with a dumbbell tied around its neck in the Redwood Shores lagoon, the Peninsula Humane Society announced. Anyone with information about the crime can call (650) 340-8200 or email reportcruelty@peninsulahumanesociety.org.
