Rental Subsidy Program up for a vote

District 11 Supervisor John Avalos will vote along with the full board on whether to approve a final version of the revised Rental Subsidy Program for low-income families in The City. The program provides a need-based local housing subsidy for homeless families for up to two years. Last week, the board unanimously approved legislation proposed by Avalos to extend that subsidy to last up to five years.
